The opening night of Migritude garnered three curtain calls, and tumultuous applause!

Earlier in the day, we did a presentation of Migritude and IO to the UN Women's Guild at the UN headquarters in Vienna. The 60-odd attendees were riveted, and many of them came to see the show at the Kosmos theater, bringing friends, family and partners. The following two nights of the show sold out, and again, got multiple curtain calls. Feedback from the audience was deeply appreciative of the international perspective on women's lives, the stories of what daughters inherit (and reject!) from their mothers, the use of visually stunning saris as containers of economic, political, and personal history.
