 Media Center
Breakthrough is an organization which focuses on human rights.

We consider women’s rights and human rights and want others to recognize this as well. Breakthrough seeks to address issues which every woman across the world faces and to encourage the promotion of women’s rights to end violence and discrimination.

To reach younger audiences, we have collaborated with comic artists Badmash to create a Flash animation downloadable off the web and outreach cards to promote open discussion on sexuality related issues. Featuring Badmash’s original comic strips on the front, the series of cards features crucial information on HIV/AIDS--including the basics of prevention, myth blasting and tips for healthy, safe relationships. these cards are prominently displayed and available for free distribution in all kinds of social spaces in Delhi—including clubs, bars, restaurants, gyms, salons, and coffee shops—allowing us to reach Delhi’s youth with the information they need to protect themselves.

This is a great project. The post cards are humorous but still convey powerful messages about the dangers or HIV/AIDS.
Madelyne WImberley (United States)
I love these post cards. It's such an innovative way to get young people informed about HIV/AIDS.
