Women Can Do Wonders

It is, however, not just a saying -- it is a fact. The backbone is a vital body part...
There are however several factors that have completely eroded the woman's capacity to fulfill her role in society, factors I witness in my Maasai culture. They range from the negative attitude of society towards women to external factors like poverty.
What women need is empowerment. Most people will agree that given a chance, women can do wonders. We need to be educated and given resources that will enable us take care of ourselves and our families. We can be trained in various non-formal ways and also provided with basic requirements like water and capital to boost our businesses.
