In a world where people stereotype and fear a woman's cultural right to veil her beauty, the young woman in Unveiling  is going to show us that with or without her veil, she is living out in the open while certain political powers hide behind the veil of fear and ignorance.
Oftentimes, I am labeled "black painter Yvonne Muinde." I hope that one day people will judge my art for its own beauty and the controversy of its content and not for the skin color of my subjects. Or my own skin color, for that matter.
