Thank you IMOW, for trying to change the world one byte at a time; thank you, Voters for showing us that you care, and thank you, dear fellow artists, for creating a vibrant tapestry of words, images and sounds that connect us to each other and show that our differences are not cultural barriers but cultural riches, precious and revealing.
Your effort is crucial for shaking the dust off from concepts that have become dangerously habitual (war, motherhood, self-realization), so that their rediscovered meaning can once again inspire.

Thank you for creating a forum in which we re-cognize ourselves…

I am forever changed from my experiences with IMOW. As women, we share an understanding of how powerful we could be, but creating a forum like IO dramatically displays how powerful we ARE. Our words, beliefs, and our creative will, when pooled collectively, give way to the sea of, hope, gratitude, sadness, and intelligence that define women. Being a part of the facilitation of these voices is one of the most rewarding and definitive experiences of my life. Thank you, thank you to everyone involved.

Thank you everyone- Imagining Ourselves is a powerful medium for women. I was inspired by the stories i read, the videos i saw and the voices that came through from accross the planet. We are essentially all battling the same demons and its heartening to see the commitment we all have to overcome the challenges facing us...
IMOW should be proud of what it has managed to achieve here...

Thank you to everyone. I was excited to be a part of the top ten for Oceania and absolutely humbled by the support that followed. It has been inspirational to be a part of Imagining Ourselves and see it grow into a global dialogue and exhibition. So many of the works were a celebration of what it is to be human; the bonds and emotions that link us all.
Congratulations to everyone who was a part of this and especially to the IMOW team who had the vision and passion to make it happen.
